"Fly high towards the sky, with energy and joy." That's the spirit woven into our name. FLY HIGH was born in 2019 from a simple wish—"I wish this piece of clothing existed"—by a woman whose life has always revolved around travel.

Every journey brings encounters: landscapes that take your breath away, the quality of light in a foreign city, the rhythm of daily life in a place far from home. FLY HIGH begins there—in the moment where inspiration becomes a garment, where a feeling becomes a product you can hold in your hands.

A hoodie elegant enough to throw on during a flight and walk straight into a candlelit dinner. Original folding fans meticulously crafted through over 80 steps by master artisans at Onishi Tsuné Shoten, a storied Kyoto atelier. Silk kumihimo braids handwoven by Shoen Kumihimo in Uji, Kyoto—a workshop founded in 1948. Quilted Kantha bags individually crafted by artisans in Jaipur, India, giving new life to vintage textiles through zero-waste methods. Cashmere sweaters sourced directly from Milan, with colors so vivid they transform an entire outfit.

What unites every piece is a reverence for materials and a deep respect for the hands that shape them. From the delicate precision of Japanese artisanship to the bold handcraft traditions of India and the color mastery of Italian fashion—FLY HIGH finds beauty where craftsmanship crosses borders.

In December 2024, we moved our atelier from Yuigahama to Kita-Kamakura. The moment we saw this place, there was no hesitation—"This is it." The blue sky framed by the window, the green canopy beyond the rooftops, the distant silhouette of Engaku-ji temple, the profound silence of nights without neon or traffic. Perhaps it was the memory of growing up surrounded by nature that drew us here.

Kita-Kamakura is a place where time moves differently. Quieter, unhurried, far from the tourist crowds of central Kamakura. Tiny shrines tucked into narrow alleys whisper of a deeper spirituality. It's from this stillness that our clothing and accessories emerge—pieces that settle naturally into the fabric of everyday life. Our atelier feels like visiting a friend's home.
